The series first two parts of PBS Nova's Evolution are a bit boring compared to the rest of the series, giving more background into the history of Charles Darwin. After the two parter it gets a lot more interesting delving into many aspects that have helped influence evolution.

If you want to fall asleep. The 8 Part Magical Egypt Documentary series can help you do this. There was a time when I had part two fully up on Google Video, but the creators complained and it got removed. That didn't stop others from uploading it in parts to YouTube.

If anything good came out of Google Video besides funny kitten movies, then it must be this amazing and provocative documentary from BBC, made by master amazer Adam Curtis. It's an exploration that looks at the roots of the present day consumerism and how they came up with the idea to keep us docile and diverted.
Century Of Self has been awarded numerous of prestiges documentary awards.
This one, is on the top of my personal recommendations for On-line Must See's.

I have always looked at Google to envision where they where going, besides from being a search engine. And have seen Google develop idea after idea that prove that a Google Virtual Earth, where people interact like in a second life way is something that we will see in the future from Google. The clip below shows another such idea that makes a Google Virtual Earth a possibilty. I will try to digg up a lecture from Google Talks, where they show a cheap and fast way to render people in 3D, from a few years ago.

Rarely do I encounter a documentary that does not try to sell you a story by having someone narrate everything to you, thus trying to convince you of the facts that you should re-check yourself.
The Evidence of Revision series do it differently. In 5 parts, levelling up to around 8 hours, you get original and sometimes never before seen footage of the period before, during and after Kennedy's assassination up untill MK Ultra and JonesTown.
